How To Participate In DANA ISPO Bonus Rolling Snapshot
Investors are able to participate in the DANA ISPO Bonus Rolling Snapshot by staking ADA in any of the eligible Ardana Stake Pool Alliance (ASPA) prior to 1st April and hold till the launch of the DANA ISPO which is in July.
The bonus an investor gets will depend on how long he or he staked ADA in any of the eligible stake pools.
This article will give you a complete guide on how to delegate to any of the stake pools and earn $DANA.
Let’s say, for example, that the rolling snapshot lasts for 100 days and a person learned about the ISPO after 50 days have already passed since April 1st and they decide to stake their ADA for the DANA ISPO for the last 50 days. Their effective multiplier could be 1.5, whereas someone who had staked for all 100 days could have an effective multiplier of 2.0.
To participate in the Ardana ISPO, you need to open account with one of the smart wallets like Yoroi, this article will concentrate on delegating ADA using Yoroi wallet.
Download the Yoroi wallet for chrome browser, you can also download and install the Yoroi app on your phone through Playstore or iOS
Register and verify your account with Yoroi, and fund your account with ADA. You can send ADA from exchanges or wallets like Coinbase, Binance, Gate.io, Trust Wallet, etc., to your Yoroi account. All you need to do is to copy your Yoroi address, use it to send ADA from any of the exchanges or wallets listed above.
Once you are done, you now need to chose any of the ASPA staking pools through this list. Below are some of the eligible staking pools.
As you can see above, there are values for Ticker and Margin, the Ticker value is what you use when delegating on Yoroi, the smaller the margin the bigger the return. So let’s say we are choosing Spectrum Pool, ticker is SPEC, margin is 0.70%. You can also choose Santo which has 0.00% margin, with ticker ‘SANTO’.
Please note that the amount you are delegating also determines your bonus and what your profit will be.
Open your Yoroi wallet, click on Delegation List, search for any of the stake pools you want to delegate in. You can search for any of the stake pools using the stake pool ticker. For example, we are searching for Spectrum Pool, the ticker is SPEC, type it in and click search, it will show the pool.
You will see information about the stake pool, click on ‘Delegate’ to delegate in the stake pool, confirm transaction and you are done. Note that it may take close to one hour for the delegation to reflect in your wallet.
